Tulia is a multi-passionate entrepreneur. She has founded and co-founded half a dozen businesses in fields ranging from IT to designer jewellery.
In 2009, Tulia discovered the power of assertive and effective communication when she joined Toastmasters International. She has been sharing her knowledge through speaking engagements, mentoring, and coaching people to increase their self-confidence and performance by becoming better communicators and assertive leaders. Last May she was one of the finalists in the European-level Toastmasters speech competition in Oporto, Portugal.
Since 2013 she has been supporting women to reach better results in their professional and personal lives by boosting their leadership skills.
In 2014 she co-founded the AWE Summit to "Give Voice to Women" to share their stories and with that inspire and empower others. Tulia believes that everyone has something to share.
For her, mutual collaboration is the most powerful and enjoyable venture on the path to growth. AWE Summit is here to make it happen!
Túlia Lopes

Gabriella Opaz
An award winning speaker and writer, Gabriella co-founded one of the top Digital Communications Conferences in the wine industry, which tackles digital marketing and communications, mobile, social media and e-commerce.
She is the co-founder of Catavino.net - a newly launched Portuguese and Spanish tourism company, as well as a TEDx consultant. Internationally, she has run trainings on effective communication through writing, public speaking, presenting and dialogue.
She has a Masters in Education focused specifically on alternative learning and communication models, and a degree in Intercultural Communication.
When not speaking or tapping away on the keyboard, you can find her lacing up her running shoes and taking off through the windy streets of Porto!
Monique Blokzyl is the founder of the business launch portal which supports startup entrepreneurs worldwide to rocket their ideas into enterprise. Monique is also an international speaker, trainer, coach and published author. She won the Public Speaking Toastmasters competition twice on European level, and has shared the stage with motivational speakers like Sheryl Roush and leaders like the US foreign minister John Kerry and the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak. Her weekly Business Launch Radio show regularly attracts thousands of listeners in more than 30 countries. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Monique worked for almost 15 years in different international leadership positions in Marketing and Change Management. Here she learned how many employees, from support staff to top managers, do not live a fulfilled live as they have not chosen their work out of passion. It became her mission to help people realizing their dreams. Starting a business is fun!

The Brazilian choreographer Gisela Rocha was born in Salvador de Bahia, where she started her education in both classical and modern dance. She has a Bachelor diploma with a specialisation in choreography from UfBA, the Federal University of Bahia, and has been a choreographer for the past 25 years.
In Switzerland she has choreographed for Theaterhaus Gessnerallee, Tanz Haus Wasserwerk, Rote Fabrik, Zürcher Theaterspektakel 2005, Kaserne Basel, and theatres in Bern, Lucerne, Winterthur, and Lausanne.
She has been a guest choreographer with Introdans Company (Netherlands), Ballet Mainz, and Bern Ballet. Her pieces have been shown in the Netherlands, the United States, Brazil, Germany, Egypt, France, and Korea. Gisela works as jury judge for international competitions including TanzOlymp Berlin, Seoul International Competition, and Paris Conservatory.
Over the last 10 years, Gisela has deepened her studies in yoga, movement meditation, and the 5 Rhythms. She's used these principles to create a new system of self-empowerment, healing, and body awareness, called Movement for Life.

Ana was born in Brazil, in a city called “Beautiful Horizon”. Today she is a world citizen, who has lived abroad over 26 year, and 12 from these years flying and working around the globe.
Her studies? Law studies in Brazil, Foreign Trade in Germany with specialization in International Marketing, Telecommunications, Interior Design, Epigenetic Therapy.
Her professions? She has been receptionist, English teacher, tourist guide, executive secretary, administrator, logistics expert in traceability, marketing and sales, project manager, product manager, global Marketing Manager, professor, therapist, coacher, mentor and …… friend, daughter, wife, a connector, an inspirer, a communicator, a empathizer, a listener, a thinker, a creator…. a public speaker, a leader, an entrepreneur……
Areas she works with? Marketing B2B, Hospitality, Training and now a she is also a proud beginner as a digital entrepreneur.
Areas of interest ? All logy’s, phosy’s, life, human being, meditating, yoga, aikido, sailing, hiking, travelling, scuba diving, all kind of arts, nature, connecting with people and places.
In few words, she is a life lover, a laughter, a life surrender,, her life motto became her company acronym: Creativity, Experimenting ….and in the best case, Wisdom! Welcome to the CEW world, my empire!
Stacey Wallaberger

Founder Metis Consulting
Born in South Africa and having a charmed childhood growing up on a farm. Stacey Wallaberger experienced the transition from small town living to city boarding school and university. She moved to Switzerland nearly thirty years ago.
Experiencing major life changes has always been exciting and fortunately she is a nomad at heart with the desire to discover and explore. Through reading and listening to others relating their stories she has ‘travelled’ the world. Her passion is being an educator and connoisseur of life.
Always open for new horizons Stacey has had the opportunity of living three lives and the fourth as an entrepreneur has opened its doors. Having worked in the luxury retail industry for many years, it is her belief that there should be non-negotiable high standards, her mission is to educate and train retail employees in emerging markets, thus empowering them to better themselves and to offer and authentic brand experience
Hillarie Burke

Hilarie Burke is the creative spirit and craftsperson behind her unique line of leather accessories Hark Designs. Prior to this venture she directed, created and performed internationally with her movement theater company, Silent Partners. As an American living in Switzerland, she continues to engage in theater projects that focus on social awareness. Hilarie is a seeker of ideas and fellow humans to share them with. She weaves her eclectic pursuits into her overarching view that all of life is intrinsically interconnected: A spiritual awareness that has freed her to follow her dreams.
Cristiani Oliveira

Originally from Brazil, Cristiani has been living in Portugal since 2001, working in the fields of Marketing Research, Mystery Shopping and Customer Experience Management.
With over 20 years of professional experience, Cristiani has worked in diverse areas, such as logistics, insurance, banking and metallurgical industry.
Since 2011, Cristiani is a Director at Intercampus, a Marketing Research company. With an education background in management, Cristiani also has training in Entrepreneurship, Communication and Public Relations.
Cristiani contributes frequently to various publications and is a frequent speaker in national and international conferences, lecturing on topics such as Business Ethics, Mystery Shopping, Marketing Research, Customer Experience Management, Human Resources and Corporate Communication.
In her free time, Cristiani likes to travel with her husband and two small daughters. She is also engaged with many non-profit associations, such as Banco Alimentar (Food Bank) MSPA Europe and Toastmasters International.

Inês Santos Silva

Inês is a young entrepreneur and community builder that has been recognized for her work as a startup accelerator and community builder on a national and international level. She is the co-founder of multiple startup initiatives, including StartupX, Trojan Horse was a Unicorn, Startup Pirates, Startup Tour andPortugalStartups.com. She is also an avid TEDx organizer, a
Sandbox Portugal Ambassador and one of the youngest ever graduates of Singularity University.
Inês is on a mission to help entrepreneurs and startups grow beyond their wildest dream. In 2012 she co-founded StartupX, a non-profit organization, to multiply the market and social impact of entrepreneurs and startups around the world.
Startup Pirates is a one-week community driven acceleration program for entrepreneurs in the making, which in 3 years spread to over 20 countries on 4 continents with extensive recognition by the media. Startup Tour is a 3 day program designed to provide access to the best startup ecosystems. PortugalStartups.com is an online portal focus on the Portuguese
startup scene.
Inês is also involved in the TED community as a passionate TEDx organizer, in the One/Thousand Network as an Ambassador for Portugal and Global Shapers as a member for Lisbon. She is an alumni of the Singularity University Graduate Studies Program.
Esther Liska

With a degree in International Relations, Esther Liska has developed her career between South America, the United Kingdom and Portugal, in a social, diplomatic and corporate environment.
She has international training in the areas of Personal Branding, Coaching and Neuro-linguistic Programming, consultancy and training in the area of Personal Branding.
Using several modalities to help clients achieve their distinct personal brand including her expertise as an image consultant, Esther applies methods of colour identification and styles which best fit your body and personality. She works for the corporate market and with individuals as well, through public speaking engagements.
Founder of Glow Woman Club, an organization to promote women leadership, combines professional experience and know-how to develop the potential of entrepreneurial women, helping them to become more confident, developing networking skills and sharing experiences, thus promoting their personal growth and professional progress.
She is the author of the book "Marca Pessoal" and at the is developing the project Glow Academy for Girls, to promote self - reliance and entrepreneurship in young adolescents in Portugal.
Marta Cunha

Marta is a woman like many others: working, mother of 2 children, trying to get the maximum balance and success of all aspects of your life.
She received her bachelor’s degree in Management by the Faculdade de Economia do Porto while she chaired the international students Association, AIESEC. This association's mission is to contribute to peace and development of human potential.
Marta joined Sonae, Portugal’s largest retailer, in 2000 as a price manager in the food business. After being a commercial manager of various units of the non-food business of Sonae MC, and a brief time in 2010 when she was the director of supply chain, she was responsible for 4 years for the Innovation Management team, where she focused on boosting the innovation culture across Sonae, promoting the open innovation policy, in particular partnerships with universities.
Nowadays Marta is responsible for the Customer Insights Department, providing insights about the customers to all the food retail business.
During 2014, Marta accumulated the study and her work, through the Executive MBA from Porto Business School. Given their academic results and personal characteristics, Marta received the award MBA Student of the Year Award in 2014 by the Association of MBAs.
Marta is trainer of Porto Business School in areas such as innovation and creativity, and public speaking.
Brigida Moucho

A história de um golfinho que ousou entrar no mundo dos tubarões
Brígida Moucho desde cedo se revelou uma empreendedora tendo realizado o seu “primeiro negócio” com apenas 8 anos vendendo cães de peluche que ela própria se encarregou de encomendar. Aos 17 anos fez o Curso de Jovens Empresários na Associação Nacional de Jovens Empresários mas foi apenas depois de terminar o MBA que criou, com 29 anos, a sua empresa - Molécula do Saber - em 2000. Ao longo da sua carreira já desenvolveu trabalhos de coordenação de projetos, alguns dos quais pilotos na Administração Pública portuguesa, consultoria, formação e auditoria em Portugal e Espanha em instituições como o Club de Excelência en Gestion, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, TecMinho, IPP, ISEP, Fundação Portugal África, Câmara Municipal (CM) do Porto, CM Gaia e CM Amadora, Blaupunkt, Bosch, Texas Instruments, Continental Mabor e Grupo Amorim. Pelo meio esteve ligado à política e a projetos humanitários em Portugal, Angola e Cabo Verde.
Contudo a frequência do Curso de Auditores da Defesa Nacional em 2002/03 levou-a a encetar novos caminhos nesta área. Em 2012/13 fez o Common Security and Defense Policy High Level Course no European Security and Defense College em Bruxelas e em 2014 o Program on Applied Security Studies no George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies na Alemanha. Estava pois lançada a semente para o desenvolvimento de uma nova área de negócio da empresa: a Cibersegurança, tema esse que está atualmente a trabalhar no seu doutoramento.
Representa a Molécula do Saber no NATO Multinational Smart Defence Project on Cyber Defence Education & Training (VN) e participou no Exercício de Ciberdefesa, do Exército, CiberPerseu 2015.
Paula Arriscado

Diretora da Direção Corporativa Pessoas, Marca e Comunicação do Grupo Salvador Caetano, após 15 anos na Gestão de Marca, Marketing e Comunicação na Toyota Caetano Portugal (GSC).
Coordenadora da Pós Graduação de Marketing Management do IPAM Porto e é Docente neste Instituto.
Doutorada em Gestão de Marca e Comunicação Integrada pela Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (2008), Mestre em Relações Públicas (2001) e Licenciada em Jornalismo (1995).
Entre 1991 e 2000, colaborou em vários Órgãos de Comunicação Social, destacando-se a Rádio Nova, a TSF e a Revista Máxima. Paralelamente desenvolveu uma vasta atividade na área da Comunicação Empresarial (Associação Empresarial de Portugal, câmaras municipais de Esposende e Arcos de Valdevez, Associação dos Industriais Metalúrgicos, Metalomecânicos, APCER, Porto Editora, entre outras).
Eleita “Profissional de Marketing do Ano 2005 no Sector Automóvel” pela APPM e “Professora do Ano em 2013” pelo IAM Porto. Integra ainda o Júri em processos de obtenção do título de Especialista para Docência no Ensino Politécnico e é Vice-presidente da Liga Rainha Maria Pia.
Nasceu na pequena Vila de Forjães, Concelho de Esposende, há 47 anos. Daqui levou o gosto pela vida e as mais importantes influências no seu percurso pessoal e profissional.
Com atitude positiva, de cada pormenor do dia-a-dia colhe sempre uma aprendizagem.
Versátil nos gostos e nas competências. Assim, para ativar a mente privilegia a leitura, a música e o cinema; para estimular a criatividade e o pensamento lateral é adepta do “Do it Yourself” em adereços de moda e bricolagem; para energizar o corpo pratica desporto hiperativo, como o BodyCombat, Boxe, Byke e CrossFit, condimentados por sessões de Pilates ou Yoga.
Mas como o mais importante são as pessoas, gosta de festas de família e convívios com amigos onde possa conversar, rir e dançar. Para crescer, viaja o quanto pode, arriscando-se pelos locais genuínos em interação com os residentes e fora dos circuitos turísticos.
